On April 15, 2024, the double-sided high-voltage 5kW PEM electrolyzer test system independently developed by Goreal Energy was successfully taken offline and completed acceptance. The testing system has strictly followed the enterprise design standards for systematic and comprehensive testing, achieving double- sided high pressure, single side high pressure, and high inlet temperature testing. The temperature control and back pressure control are stable, and the test results are normal. All functional and performance indicators have reached or even partially exceeded the design goals. The successful landing of this test system is a significant progress made by GoReal Energy in the field of electrolyzer test system.

The following is a double-sided test system using a membrane electrode developed for high-voltage customization in cooperation with a well-known domestic enterprise and a high-voltage fixture independently designed and developed by GoReal Energy. The process and results of the single-sided high-voltage performance test.

Specific test items and sequence are as follows:

1. Electrolyzer atmospheric pressure test
The test was activated at current densities of 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000mA/cm² for 15 minutes each. The activation data was normal, and the hydrogen and oxygen flow rates were stable, meeting the indicators. The temperature control was stable within ± 1 ℃.

2. Double- sided back pressure 30bar test
Pre pressurize with nitrogen to 30 bar, preheat the electrolysis water, and conduct double-sided high-pressure testing using a high-pressure electrolyzer. The electrolysis water flow rate is controlled stably, and the hydrogen and oxygen production flow rates are stable. The test data meets the standards.

3. Single side (cathode) back pressure 30bar test
The cathode is pre pressurized with nitrogen to 30 bar, the electrolytic water is preheated, and a high-pressure electrolyzer is used for single-sided high-pressure testing. The electrolytic water flow rate is controlled stably, and the hydrogen and oxygen production flow rates are stable. The test data meets the standards.

4. Short circuit high temperature 95 ℃ double-sided high pressure 50bar test
The tested interface is short circuited, pressurized with nitrogen to 50 bar, preheated with electrolytic water, and the temperature rises to 95 ℃. A 50 bar back pressure test is conducted, with stable temperature and pressure control. The test data meets the standards.
